EU-Wide Network

A coalition of BIPOC-led youth organizations advocating for rights and equality across Europe

About the EU-Wide Network

The current social and political landscape in the EU presents significant challenges for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disability youth. Rising discrimination, inequality, and exclusion threaten the rights and well-being of these communities, perpetuating systemic injustices and exacerbating existing vulnerabilities. The resurgence of far-right movements, with their divisive rhetoric and discriminatory agendas, has further intensified these challenges, fostering a climate of hostility and intolerance that disproportionately affects already marginalized groups.

Compounding these challenges is the lack of a unified network focused on amplifying the voices and advancing the interests of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled youth. For this reason, #DiasporaVote! led the effort for the creation of the EU Wide Network. The coalition brings together BIPOC-led youth organizations advocating for the rights of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disability communities. This network aims to provide a platform for member organizations to collaborate, share knowledge, and amplify their voices for the creation of a more equitable and just EU.

Mission

The mission of the network is to mobilize a collective force of BIPOC-led youth organizations to combat rising discrimination, inequality, and exclusion in the EU. We aim to amplify marginalized voices, drive policy change, and foster a culture of solidarity and inclusivity.

Vision

Our vision is a Europe where marginalized communities are protected, valued, and empowered to thrive. We envision a future where discriminatory agendas are rejected, and policies promote justice, equality, and human rights for all.
