Challenging racist language in everyday life

Racist languages against Asian diaspora does not always appear as openly hateful. Mocking phrases like “ching chang chong“ may be dismissed as jokes or harmless teasing. These forms of everyday racism are often overlooked or minimized, yet they reinforce streotypes, normalize exclusion, and silence those affected.

This project is dedicated to raising awareness about discriminatory language and its impact. On this page, you will soon find campaign materials and downloadable posters, that can be shared to challenge racist speech and boost conversations. Our aim is to make visible what has too often been ignored. So-called ‘jokes’ and microaggression are not minor; they are symbols of normalized racism.
