CinemAsia 2026 highlighted diverse Asian voices through film and dialogue in Amsterdam. From queer Asian narratives and historical memory to chosen families and diaspora experiences, this year’s festival featured authenticity and plurality. At a time when spaces for connection and cultural expression are increasingly important, CinemAsia continues to create meaningful ground for community and storytelling.
